Marie-Eve Bordeleau, PhD

Vice-President, Preclinical Development & Regulatory Affairs

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Bordeleau is a molecular and cellular biologist with 18 years of experience in the discovery and preclinical development of small molecules, biologics and cell-therapy approaches for the treatment of cancer and rare diseases. She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from McGill University where she identified mechanisms of chemoresistance in hematological cancers. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cell biology at Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) of Université de Montréal where she studied hematopoietic stem cells for transplantation purposes. Before joining the Neurenati team, Dr. Bordeleau served for 9 years as Deputy Director of the Molecular Genetics of Stem Cells Research Unit at IRIC, managing a team of 25 scientists and leading the development of therapeutic strategies for hematological cancers. She thus contributed to the preclinical development of 6 anti-cancer small molecules and 3 therapeutic antibodies, and to the discovery of 5 hematopoietic stem cells biomarkers and several cancer antigens.
