Kattayoun Kordy, MD

Dr. Kordy is a pediatric gastroenterologist with deep clinical development experience at the executive level in large pharma. Additionally, she guided several biotech companies in early start-up stages, serving as Chief Medical Officer and as a Board member. Dr. Kordy leverages extensive clinical experience as a triple board-certified physician in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology, general pediatrics, and clinical pharmacology and possesses a breadth of experience across a broad therapeutic range, from biologics and small molecule therapies to device development, spanning early- to late-stage clinical trials. Dr. Kordy has helped bring several innovative programs to clinic and created high-value products with a proven track record in new markets during her tenure at Novartis pharmaceuticals and as Head of Rare Disease within Immunology at Johnson & Johnson. Her diverse qualifications and strengths include immunology, rare diseases, gastroenterology, hepatology, and pediatrics, along with expertise in innovative trial design and execution.
